Hi, I'm Jordan Retes.

I'm a travel writer and photographer based nowhere in particular. For the last six years I've been slowly moving around the world — one country at a time, one camera in my bag, one story per stop.

This journal is where I keep the stories that don't fit into a caption: the 4 a.m. bus rides, the strangers who fed me, the light I chased and occasionally caught.
